My name is David Nordhoff. Born on the eastern shore of Maryland, I have spent my whole life on the water. Whether it be working on boats or just having fun, I can’t see myself doing anything different!

My leg was amputated in the summer of 2016, which prevented me from doing the kinds of things that I always used to. I wanted to make a new start in a tropical paradise, so I eventually moved to Sarasota, Florida. Seeing the sandbars out in the clear turquoise water, I knew I had to get a pontoon boat to enjoy with friends and family. Having fun and making beautiful memories with my loved ones on my pontoon compelled me to expand my love for the water into a career, and that is how Peg Leg Pontoons started.
