If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, you are required by Florida law to pass a boater safety education course and carry your boater safety education I.D. card to operate our pontoons. Click here to find the list of approved courses and get your Lifetime Boating Safety Education I.D. Card today!
There are several sites you can visit to obtain your Lifetime Boating Safety Education I.D. Card. The most affordable we could find is FREE from BoatUS.org, but we've seen it for up to $39.95 on other sites. You can find a list of approved boating safety courses at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) website.
If you prefer to obtain a temporary certificate, keep in mind that it will expire 90 days after course completion. The best deal we found is from BoatTest101.com for only $9.99.
There is a 50% deposit required at the time of booking. When you arrive to pick up your pontoon, you will be charged the remainder of your rental fee and your credit card will be kept on file for incidentals (e.g. fuel, damage to the boat, cleaning fee if left in an unreasonable condition, etc.). We will inspect the pontoon upon return and discuss charges, if any. Please note: for any major damage to the boat, you will be charged upwards of $2,500.
Yes. New Florida regulation requires we offer all customers additional insurance before taking our pontoons on the water. We will provide you with the link for this in your reservation confirmation email to complete before you arrive to pick up your pontoon. You can do this on site, but doing it before will help get you on the water faster.
We can meet you at one of the many boat ramps in the area.
When you arrive, you will be given a rundown on the boat and on water safety. The length of this overview is based on your experience.
Yes, each boat has a maximum capacity for safety reasons. Please refer to the Pontoons section on our website under rentals for more information on capacity.
